West Side

West Side Small Business Innovation Grant works with entrepreneurs seeking to open their business in a commercial vacancy, property owners seeking potential tenants, and existing businesses to make renovations & other improvements on the West Side. We strongly encourage your proposed project focuses on exterior & facade improvements. Grant awards range from $1000 to $10,000. KIVA DELAWARE

KIVA Delaware provides small business lending to small businesses statewide, providing mircoloans as small as $1000. KIVA is the world’s first personal micro-lending website enabling everyday people to lend as little as $25 to provide financial access to entrepreneurs in developing communities across the globe.

The Women’s Business Center provides in-depth, outcome-oriented business services to entrepreneurs. WBC training includes courses on business planning, business financing, social media and marketing.

Delaware Black Chamber of Commerce (DEBCC), we are driven to do our part in changing the economic footprint for small businesses in the First State and beyond. The Chamber remains a solid voice for the Black business community while continuously refocusing its efforts to meet the ever changing needs of its members.

EnrichDelaware! is a Minority Business Initiative that provides practical business education utilizing the nationally recognized Interise’s StreetWise ‘MBA’ curriculum. Complete the program with a customized, three-year strategic growth plan – plus, the confidence and ability to turn those plans into action.

The Minority Small Business Program helps minority entrepreneurs improve the way they do business via business coaching, creating business processes & systems, and strengthen their financial performance.

The Delaware SBDC delivers training programs and FREE professional consulting services to help innovators, startups, and existing businesses (with 0-500 employees*) formulate and execute strategies to grow and succeed.

Launcher is a 12 week Business Plan writing course that provides instruction on how to start your business as well as one-on-one entrepreneurship guidance.
