Open Streets - W. 4th Street
Welcome to YOUR streets!
Open Streets Wilmington events take place monthly, closing busy streets to motor vehicles for the afternoon and OPENING them to people. The events transform high traffic streets into safe community spaces for people of all ages and abilities to get outside, connect, exercise, and play. They raise awareness of unsafe streets that aren’t meeting the needs of local residents and help community members reimagine what their streets could look like.
Open Streets Wilmington is a collaborative initiative of Urban Bike Project, West Side Grows Together, Partnership for Delaware Estuary, Jefferson Street Center, and the Open Streets Wilmington steering committee.

This event is hosted by West End Neighborhood House in collaboration with the Delaware Office of Defense Services and Morris, Nichols, Arsht & Tunnell LLP.
Please fill out the below questionnaire to pre-register for a one-on-one meeting with an attorney to learn if or when you may become eligible for second chance relief in Delaware.
The hosts can only help with Delaware criminal records.
Preregistration is strongly encouraged but walk-in services will be available.

Community Clean-Up Day: Help Refresh the Playground Mulch at Father Tucker Park!
On Saturday, April 12, communities all over Wilmington will be getting outdoors to clean-up and beautify their neighborhoods with the support of the City’s Beautiful City Initiative, including several events on the West Side.
Let's meet up at Father Tucker Park, at the corner of Scott and 9th streets, from 9 AM to 12 PM, to refresh the playground mulch in the park, for block clean-up, refreshments, and more!
Bring a shovel or a rake if you have one! We will also have tools and supplies onsite.

This Public Safety Town Hall Meeting is hosted by Rep. DeShanna Neal and other State and Local Legislators and attendees will discuss issues about the housing insecure, drug/criminal activity along Lancaster and Maryland Avenues. More information to be announced.
