West Side Farmers Market at Cool Spring Park Returns June 25th with Fresh Flavors, Local Vendors & Family Fun
West Side Grows Together (WSGT) is excited to welcome neighbors, friends, and farmers market lovers back to Cool Spring Park for the opening day of the 2025 West Side Farmers Market! Join us on Wednesday, June 25th, from 3:30–6:30 p.m., as we kick off a vibrant season celebrating fresh, local food, and community spirit.
WHAT: Opening Day of West Side Farmers Market at Cool Spring Park
WHEN: Every Wednesday from 3:30-6:30pm starting June 25th through October 29th
WHERE: Cool Spring Park (Lower Level near N Van Buren Street & Park Place), Wilmington, DE
This season the West Side Farmers Market features local vendors offering fresh produce, plants, baked goods, coffee, fresh juices, artisan foods, plus monthly cooking demos by Free Food For All Delaware, kids activities, health resources and live music. Opening Day includes free homemade Italian water ice provided by Fusco’s Water Ice. And, enjoy an afternoon of live music and community wellness with a performance by John Rogers & Augie Parodi!
The West Side Farmers Market also accepts Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP)/EBT, and thanks to generous support from our funders, SNAP purchases will be matched dollar-for-dollar (up to $20) through our Bonus Bucks program. This means double the value to spend on fresh fruits, vegetables, herbs, and honey.
To use SNAP, swipe your EBT card at the market welcome table and receive SNAP tokens to spend at the market—plus Bonus Bucks for extra savings. Select vendors at the market also accept Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program and WIC Farmers Market Nutrition Program benefits, along with most credit cards, debit, and cash.
