Mark your calendars for an in-person session with representatives from WILMAPCO to discuss the recently published a report detailing findings from last October's Walkable Communities Workshop focused on Lancaster Ave. and 2nd St.  Opportunities to ask questions, provide feedback and discuss.

West Side Grows Together proudly invites the community to the Grand Open House of the West Side Creative Hub, taking place on Thursday, April 30th from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at 610 N. Union Street in Wilmington. This event marks the official launch of a creative space rooted in community, culture, and collaboration, and represents a milestone years in the making.

Event Highlights: 

• Local artist exhibition

• Interactive art experience

• Connect with local creatives, partners, and resources

• Learn how to get involved and be part of the Hub

• Light refreshments from neighborhood restaurants

The West Side Creative Hub is a small storefront arts space on Wilmington’s West Side where artists, entrepreneurs, and neighbors gather for workshops, conversations, exhibitions, and co-working. The Hub is located at 610 N. Union Street, Wilmington, DE 19805. The Grand Open House is free and open to the public.

 West Side Grows Together is proud to partner with the Mayor’s Office of the City of Wilmington and Spirit of the East to celebrate the opening of their new restaurant located at 416 N. Union Street on the West Side of Wilmington, DE. The celebration will take place on Thursday, March 26th from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm and will feature a ceremonial ribbon cutting, and complimentary food sampling.

We’re excited to invite you to a virtual introduction of the West Side Grows Together Creative Hub, a new creative space located at 610 North Union Street in Wilmington, DE.

The West Side Grows Together Creative Hub serves as a flexible workshop and activation space for artists, creatives, and entrepreneurs. Designed as a catalyst for innovation, the hub provides an adaptable environment for collaboration, skill-building, and creative placemaking on the West Side.

Join us on 4th Street as we bring warmth, light, and community spirit to the neighborhood! This festive gathering is all about supporting local businesses, spreading kindness, and brightening up the blocks together.

Enjoy free soup from La Esperanza Mexican Restaurant, hot drinks, holiday giveaways, resources, and more.

Event will be located outside within the park on the corner of
4th and Rodney Street.

At the same time of the event, stop by Messiah’s Market at 1512 W 4th St for the Holiday Pop-Up Market + arts & crafts ( right next door to the event).

We’re also encouraging residents to decorate their homes.
